Jean's winning porridge recipe:
Cook 4 tablespoons oatmeal
with ¾ pint of water and ¼ pint of milk.
Add ½ teaspoon salt.
At the end of cooking add a small drop of cream.
Jean's 2002 speciality entry:
Porridge as above with fudge and finished with toasted pinhead oats, Demerara sugar and redcurrants.
