Blueberry and Almond Porridge (BERRY BERRY GOOD)

1 ½ cups medium oatmeal
2 cups water
1 cup milk
pinch of salt
few drops vanilla extract
1 tbsp ground almonds
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 punnets blueberries
sprinkle flaked almonds.

Place the water, milk, salt and vanilla extract into a pot and add the porridge.    Place the pot on a medium heat and using the spurtle keep stirring ht porridge until the mixture starts to thicken.
As the porridge starts to thicken slightly add the Almonds and sugar and keep stirring.    When the porridge is almost ready stir in the blueberries and cook for 2 mins.  Serve into your serving dish and sprinkle the flaked almonds on top.
